Verdi's Joan of Arc - 30 January

The Opera

We are delighted to welcome Hashtag Opera's production of Giovanna d'Arco by Verdi, to be performed as a concert with orchestra at Church of the Holy Spirit on Friday 30 January at 7pm.

One of Verdi’s earlier works, the opera partly reflects the story of Joan of Arc and appears to be loosely based on the play Die Jungfrau von Orleans by Friedrich von Schiller.
