Ace of Clubs at Harvest Festival - 4 October

Ace of Clubs (registered charity 1055187) is a day centre for homeless and vulnerable people located near to Clapham Common.  The centre is open to clients from 12-3pm Monday to Friday.  It is an open access service, where lunch is served daily for a minimal charge (£1), and advice on welfare, housing and benefits is available. We also have access to immigration and housing solicitors, links with local services, outreach teams, drug and alcohol workers, and physical and mental health nurses visit the centre each week.

We provide showers, a clothes store and laundry facilities, and we encourage the self-improvement of each of our clients through our Computer Basics, and Food Hygiene courses at the centre, as well as job search drop in sessions. 

If you are able to help us keep our costs down by donating any of the following groceries, we would be very grateful (or you can read the full list here):


Tinned food – meat, fish, tomatoes, vegetables, soup, fruit, rice pudding, custard

Gravy granules, salt, cooking sauces, coconut milk

Oil, soy sauce, dried herbs, spices, curry powder

Long life milk, Coffee, Sugar

Washing up liquid, plastic cutlery, washing powder

Deodorants, shaving foam, razors, shower gel, shampoos

Sainsbury’s vouchers (£5 plus) for buying fresh meat and dairy produce for the kitchen
