Centenary Appeal

Planning Our Future

Our 100th birthday has given us a chance to give thanks for and celebrate all that has been achieved here at Holy Spirit, Clapham over the last century.

It has also encouraged us to think about our future, how we are called to be at the heart of the community and what resources we need to live out that calling.

We would like to make our beautiful building more accessible, inviting and comfortable; to enhance our worship and to reach out to our community.   We have a number of exciting CENTENARY PROJECTS  in mind to help towards these goals.

We are looking to raise £50,000 for the first phase of our CENTENARY PROJECTS.

If you are able to contribute we would be enormously grateful.  Of course you may not be able to make your gift in one payment, in which case a standing order may be appropriate so as to spread the cost. Click here for a form you can use, either way. Please contact Nick Jenni, our treasurer for further information.

We promise to keep you up to date with what we have raised and what we have been able to achieve with the funds. THANK YOU for enabling us to continue to love and serve here in Clapham. Here's where we've got to so far.

We would like comfortable, stackable chairs, accessible service books, an area dedicated to quiet prayer and reflection and a decent sound system… not too much to ask!

We would like modern, attractive signage so that people walking by can see what we are up to; and a tidy and inviting frontage properly paved with a bench and attractive planting.

We would like to have a lot more fun with our young people: a projector for a film club, games & equipment, days away and training for our helpers.

We would like to reach out more into our local community supporting those in need and growing our existing volunteering activities.
