If you want a chance to explore what we believe and why it makes a difference to life this is for you. Meeting once a week on Wednesday evenings at 8pm over a glass of wine (and some bring and share snacks) we will be exploring the fundamentals of the Christian faith: the nature of God, the meaning of the cross, the purpose of the church, moving on to discuss the practice of faith: how we understand scripture, the practice of prayer and being part of a faith community. Our overall purpose is to discover how we can better grab hold of the life that God offers us in all its fullness. The evenings are hosted by Mother Ruth but we will be welcoming various members of the church and community on different evenings to hear a variety of views and experiences. And we will draw on images, music and liturgy as well as text to aid us in our explorations. The course will last for 9 weeks but we are breaking into three manageable chunks of three. Venue: stage room (accessible from the side of the church – third door down)
