The last thing that Jesus did before his arrest, trial and death was share the Passover with his friends. Passover, like Holy Communion, is a way of eating the story of our salvation.
At Passover we celebrate God rescuing his people from slavery and leading them to freedom. We eat bitter herbs, salt water, wine, roast lamb, unleavened bread and other foods to taste and recall the story we hear.
Musicians will play before and after the feast and we also sing!
This event is suitable for all ages.
Our main meal will be prepared by Dean, the chef who cooks for the Ace of Clubs Homeless Centre.
There is no charge but we will ask for donations.
Vegetarian options will be available.
